Our Commitment
KU8+ International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is a fully open access journal. All research articles published by KU8+ are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees, licensing restrictions, or paywalls of any kind.
Creative Commons Licensing
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means anyone is free to:
- Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially.
- Share with proper attribution to the original authors and source.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms, which require appropriate credit, a link to the license, and indication of any changes made.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To sustain the open access model and cover editorial, production, and archiving costs, KU8+ charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript. This fee is typically borne by the author's institution, research grant, or funding body.
KU8+ offers full or partial APC waivers for authors from low- and middle-income countries (as classified by the World Bank) upon request. Waiver eligibility is assessed at the time of manuscript acceptance and does not affect editorial decisions.
Long-Term Preservation
KU8+ is committed to long-term digital preservation of all published content. All articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref, ensuring permanent, resolvable links to every publication.
In addition, KU8+ deposits content with recognized digital archiving services, including CLOCKSS and PKP Preservation Network, to ensure that articles remain accessible even in the event of journal discontinuation.
Self-Archiving & Repository Policy
Authors retain copyright and are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional or discipline-specific repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, SSRN, institutional repositories) at any stage — pre-print, accepted manuscript, or published version of record — without embargo. Please include a link to the DOI of the published version.
